In partnership again with Kosmo Vinyl and author, Will Birch, Julian Balme produced a map documenting the various music related venues, pubs and shops of Southend on Sea and the surrounding area. Designed as an aid to anyone delving into the city’s rich musical past it contains a walking map and contains potted histories and photos of the locations. The result subsequently inspired a group show at the city’s Beecroft Gallery by the Thames Group of Artists.
